THE CONSERVATORY GARDEN in Central Park

The CONSERVATORY GARDEN in Central Park is at it’s most beautiful in Spring.  It is divided into three gardens……..Italian, French and English.  Two exquisite allées of pink and white crabapple trees.

A 12 foot fountain plays on the western lawn………tiered hedges lead up to the wisteria pergola .  The Burnett memorial fountain is a stature of two children by the sculptor Bessie Potter Vonnah.  The Three Dancing Maidens fountain is by Walter Schott.  The magnificent gate leading into the park is from the Vanderbilt mansion.

EASTER at Rockefeller Center is a treat!

Rockefeller Center in the middle of New York City is one of the most popular places in NY.  At Easter everyone is in their “finery“……… fabulous hats on the ladies and the men!  Lillies by the thousands…….giant Easter eggs…….and the Easter Bunny is dancing on the Ice Rink….[which is open through April] .  The “Art Deco” statues  by various artists  are a visual delight for everyone.
