The shoot was in Greenwich Village where LELA ROSE turned an empty store into a FLOWER SHOP.
This was my 8th and last BIRTHDAY LUNCH for January.
The burger at SUPREMA ………..[ on Bleecker street in the Village]
was voted the #1 HAMBURGER in New York.
And……it is!
Our waiter was as delightful as the burger!
Iberico belotta jambon jam, black garlic sauce, roasted baby tomatoes, very aged cheddar. NO SUBSTITUTIONS or OMISSIONS allowed. If you don’t like it……go somewhere else for a mediocre burger.
One burger was not enough…..I had to order TWO.
There are some unique provisions at a shop in the rear of the restaurant.
DUTCH Manneken • FRENCH Manikin •
ENGLISH Artificial Man • DUMMY •
“MODEL” • DOLL • DUMMY • FIGURE • MARIONETTE
My friend, Glenn has three sculptures in the 40th Annual Exhibition for non–members……….at the Salmagundi Club in Greenwich Village.

THE LOVERS [Aqua -resin] $7,500
WILSON [Bronze] $8,500
The Village has never lost it’s charm……..residents love it…..tourists are shocked…….and I am always amused………….mews……….cottages………..shingled shacks………rooftop aeries…….private doors and more.
Just CLICK ON a door………..

MORMAN CHALK MANIA in Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village
The “elders were there with a box of chalk and invited us to take some child and DRAW!
I picked out three colors and joined “Elder” Steiner on the pavement for a bit of “chalk fun”.
“Elder” Steiner…………..what a cutie.
The park is a fun place to hang out.
