The view from  my terrace……….foggy but showy……..our first snow.

A wet show..,…………….perfect for making a wet “snow person”.

My 25 Ideas for CHRISTMAS GIFTS

It was a fun day of shopping………….5th Avenue……….a flea market………a silver emporium………and a crafts show.  [I am exhauested].  But I did make 5 purchases…………gifts for family…….friends………and my stockbroker!

The TAXIDERMY DEER HEAD………..was NOT among my purchases.

However…………..this Courtly Check Moose Head at MacKenzie Childs did tempt me…………..at $15,000 [cough]………….but it was the $695 delivery charge that killed the purchase.

Shopping for a TURKEY on Arthur Avenue

We schlepped up to the BRONX..……to the Italian Markets…….looking for an Italian Turkey……….NO TURKEY……..but a lot of cute Italians.

Arthur Avenue is the place to get your Proscuitto.

I passed on the oysters but got a whole salami……….peppered.

The price for the whole proscuitto was $299……not bad.

Where did we end up??  WHITE CASTLE.  It has been 60 years since I ate one of those……back then they were 12 for a dollar.  Today it tasted just as yukky as it did in 1960.

MACY’S Thanksgiving Day Parade • 2017

On the roof of the DAKOTA APARTMENTS………..NYC sniper riflemen…..trained to shoot terrorists…….at the ready………as MACY’S Thanksgiving Day Parade passes by.

CLICK ON:

Snoopy.……..he has been aloft in 40 parades………..and he is still my fave.

And SANTA always waves to the nearly four million people lining the streets………all hoping he will climb down their chimneys on December 25th.

TURKEY DAY IS HERE

But….if we eat HAM  then we have to murder a PIG. Maybe we should just eat a cabbage and give thanks.

FUNK and FLASH at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts

These shoes were made in Vietnam……during the war.

I LOVE THEM ALL!

Tho…..the rubber duckies just might be my favorite.

But, then again……..there is the horsey………..and the rabbit!
