ARMAGEDDON on my Terrace today

I spent last week-end planting like mad……..all new flowers and plants and some new planters…..it was starting to look beautiful.

Today a scaffold crew arrived at 8am and announced they were going to erect 4 scaffolds to “point” the bricks  around the terrace and would be here for 8 months.  There goes the summer.

ARMAGEDDON!!!    Click on a scaffold to see the disaster.

GRAND CENTRAL STATION…….is oh so Grand!

The old lady is as grand as ever…………..and 750,000 people pass thru here every day.  44 train platforms and 67 tracks make her the largest train station in the world.

The grand staircase is designed after the one in the Paris Opera.  The statues outside are: HERCULES….MERCURY and MINERVA……all very SEXY.

5 POINTZ Grafitti Artists MURALS

These fantastic GRAFFITI MURALS cover the entire warehouse……with the owners permission.  New Yorkers are trying to get the art “landmarked” so they cannot be destroyed.

CENTRAL PARK ….. in a blizzard

BETHESDA FOUNTAIN at it’s prettiest…….under snow.

SLEEP LIKE A PARISIAN when in PARIS

You can stay in a fab apt………..in Paris……Airbnb……or ……Oasis Collections……or ………One Fine Stay.  Then there is Paris Perfect.

All of these apartments are in great locations…………but……..MARGAUX is my favorite…..and the 7th arrondissement is also my favorite place to be….in PARIS.

The Shape of Water • Set Design

Guillermo del Toro’s Oscar winning film….THE SHAPE OF WATER.……had the most fantastic recreations of  period looks of the 1960’s.

Production designer Paul Denham worked with the set designers Shane Vieau and Jeff Melvin designed all the sets in a muted color palette.

They scoured vintage and antique stores in Michigan and Toronto……to get all of the needed props to created the sets.

My Passion for MALIBU

Ed Norton just bought this cottage for $12 million………concrete wall…..wood…..sliding doors……5 bedrooms….right on the ocean.

Years ago when I was interested in a Malibu cottage they were about $2 MILLION……….and now the sky is the limit.  OUCH!
