I hope I get an invitation to the house warming!

TOM’S TERRACE……..installing new red tiles

It was such a disaster watching my garden get destroyed………the tiles were leaking into the apartment below.  My neighbor was annoyed!

The workers did a really great job………perfect pitch so the rain drains away………and doesn’t end up in my apartment.

Returned to a beautiful garden and ready for summer parties.

The Rose Garden of Mrs. Edsel Ford

When I was in High School in Detroit……. [Cass Tech]…………in the Art Department I was selling my watercolors at the Detroit Artist Market.  Every summer Mrs. Edsel ford would host a garden party in her rose garden.  I was invited to show and sell my watercolors…..[I sold about 50 pieces].

Eleanor was always a patron of the arts and I was thrilled to be invited………to her home and the Rose garden

POSTCARDS from PARIS

The GOLDEN AGE of postcards was from 1895 to 1915.  The parlor in every home had an album.  Hours were spent perusing, collecting and showing their postcards to friends and family.

OCULUS Shopping Mall at the World Trade Center

The OCULUS………a new shopping mall in the Wall Street Area………..over 100 stores and restaurants……..global brands…….350,000 square feet in the World Trade Center……all designed by Santiago Calatrava.

The white marble floor looks like a gigantic ice skatimg rink.

What I enjoyed the most………JOE and the JUICE up on the mezzanine.
