PETAL PLANTS and FLOWERS

Every Sunday morning you can find me behind the Museum of Natural History

where local farmers set up their stands.

My friends always ask me “where do you get all those plants and flowers in your garden”.

I get them from my friend Al [at my local farmers market]………. every Sunday morning].

TOM’S TERRACE……..installing new red tiles

It was such a disaster watching my garden get destroyed………the tiles were leaking into the apartment below.  My neighbor was annoyed!

The workers did a really great job………perfect pitch so the rain drains away………and doesn’t end up in my apartment.

Returned to a beautiful garden and ready for summer parties.

SPRINGTIME on my Terrace

The sunrise this morning………..so full of the colors in my garden.  The rhododendrons and the geraninums and the petunias………oh so glorius.

Spring has Sprung in NYC today

It was a 76º day in NYC.  I decided to do a “beach” lunch and pretend I was on Sanibel Island in Florida.

I met a nice family from Sweden this morning at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.  I wish I had invited them to lunch.

The green fish water pitcher…a gift from Margo…..it “gurgles” when you pour!

Platter from Bonwit Teller.

TUNE SALAD with watercress.

Okra….grapes and blue cheese.

Flowers from my local florist.

OUR FIRST SNOW • nyc 2017

It wasn’t a heavy snowfall……….just a nice dusting of a few inches……….lightly coating the roof of the Dakota apartments.
