I spent an afternoon here………..it is home to over 30 start-ups………..in a shared workspace.  For a very reasonable monthly rent you can share the plush leather couches, conference rooms…….year round ice cream, coffee, exotic teas and a killer free snack bar.

You can rent your own computer desk……….or you can buy a “couch space”………use all the facilities……you just don’t get your own computer table.

They’re OH SO………. SoHo !

If a “spot o’ tea” is your delight…….Steve will be happy to supply it………with a spoonful of charm…….at T2……..offering Australia’s largest selection of loose tea.

My sensory experience [other than Steve] was a taste of “Ginger Peppermint”.

The sweet taste of both lingers………..

FLEET WEEK and WALL STREET

It was time for “day tripping”…….down to SOHO and Wall Street.

FIRST STOP……….Balthazar’s Restaurant in SOHO!.  Loud and very noisy. We did not stay!

National Museum of the American Indian at ONE BOWLING GREEN in lower Manhattan………..and admission is FREE!

Our friends from Detroit were amazed at the ceiling of the ornate “Collectors Room………….

The magnificent the oval ceiling was built using the principles of the Spanish engineer Rafael Gustavino. The 140 ton skylight was constructed with our any visible signs of support.

What is it???  The roof over the new subway station………the one that was destroyed by the 9/11 terrorist attack.  The memorial and the museum is now open to the public.

25 FACES OF SOHO

We spent the morning in Soho…….breakfast……then hung around until noon for lunch.  I was going to do a photo shoot of the shops…..but the faces were more fun.

This little cutie………from Brazil…….first we met in the Apple store…..then at Baltazar’s for coffee………and again on Prince Street.  Fate?  Rafael.

Rashid stopped me and asked  directions………….he was lost.  Now he is found!
