ImageHOTEL LUTETIA PARIS…….Renovated for $200 million…..and now open.
In the 1920’s…… guests were Charles de Gaulle, James Joyce, Albert Camus. Picasso and Matisse lived here in the 1030’s. In the 1950’s Josephine Baker crooned in the bar.
More recent guests ……..Brad Pitt and Catherine Deneuve…..and the list goes on.
After 100 years………the grand LUTETIA is once again grand. When I stayed here in 1970….my room was $20 [and that was a lot]……..now it is almost $1000.
Bar Josephine…..Murano glass chandeliers ………new baths. There are seven signature suites but those go for $5000 a night.

All of these apartments are in great locations…………but……..MARGAUX is my favorite…..and the 7th arrondissement is also my favorite place to be….in PARIS.
