Yesterday was NATIONAL BAGEL DAY………..these are ZABARS……..they look good but the taste is bland.

They are the absolute best in New York City

 

NODA a new restaurant in Manhattan

On West 28th strteet…….NODA…….a very pricey first class sushi omakasa experience.  There is a simple menue for $315 or a blowout for $950 included wines and whiskies.

PICCOLO CAFE………..CHASED OUT BY RENT INCREASE

IT WAS ONE OF MY FAVE LITTLE PLACES FOR A MORNING COFFEE………BEFORE COVID.

THE  RENT WAS $15,000 A MONTH AND THE LANDLORD HAS UPPED IT.

 

The Bourke Street Bakery has taken over the lease.

If you are on your way to PARIS…………

Not the best food in Paris….but the atmosphere makes up for it.  It will cost you about $150………so choose wisely………beverage is extra.

Cafe du Soliel on the Upper West Side

You can sit in a BUBBLE POD……….and avoid eating inside.

This French Bistro is always a favorite of mine.

The restaurant is so pleasant………..you will linger for hours.

Bring friends with you…….and share……..

Brunch is fun too.

The burger is not  a half pounder…..but the fries and blue cheese……oh la la
