Spring has Sprung in NYC today

It was a 76º day in NYC.  I decided to do a “beach” lunch and pretend I was on Sanibel Island in Florida.

I met a nice family from Sweden this morning at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.  I wish I had invited them to lunch.

The green fish water pitcher…a gift from Margo…..it “gurgles” when you pour!

Platter from Bonwit Teller.

TUNE SALAD with watercress.

Okra….grapes and blue cheese.

Flowers from my local florist.

MISS LIBERTY is hiding her head in shame

Like all New Yorkers she is so ashamed of the moron running and ruining the White House.

OUR FIRST SNOW • nyc 2017

It wasn’t a heavy snowfall……….just a nice dusting of a few inches……….lightly coating the roof of the Dakota apartments.

The NYC MARATHON 2016 is Nov 6……….but the fireworks display was tonight………from my terrace I only get to see half of them………the Majestic Towers Apts block my view.  Cela Vie!

200 FRIENDS at Lunch on my Terrace

I love having my friends over to lunch……….and I think they love my food.

I enjoy preparing it………and picking herbs and veggies from my terrace garden.

For those friends that I have not included in these photos……..I will make up for it in my next luncheon blog.

You can also simply invite yourselves to lunch.

GIVE IT A MOMENT TO LOAD..…..100 PHOTOS IS JUST A BIT MUCH!
