This year Bergdorf’s teamed up with NYC MUSEUMS…………..and themed the windows accordingly.  Can you guess which museum each window highlights!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This year I was very disappointed with the windows…….they just weren’t up to snuff with years past.

BERGDORF GOODMAN mannequin is knocked out cold!

I was passing by the store on Fifth Avenue……peeked in thru the door………and there she was……….sprawled out in the middle of the floor.

Hmmmmmmmm…..!!!!!

This WILD WEST window is called “The Hitch hiker”………

She rides a wild HARE……….and the cacti are rubber.

The outfit is a design by Roberto Cavalli.

The Museum of Natural History is the inspiration for these windows ……….tons of extravagant beadwork

David Hoey……….Artistic Director……..says he was inspired by Henri Rousseau paintings.  Indeed! The windows are fantastic.

Table Decor for my NEW YEAR’S EVE party

Of course I went to Berdorf Goodman to plan my table decor for

New Years Eve.

Nixed the Caviar and the deer antler chairs.

The gold pomegranates were a tad too much.

Donald nixed the place setting.  All I was left with was the glassware and the silverware.  DUH!

 

 

 

BERGDORF GOODMAN’S Christmas Windows 2014 • Authors

Bergdorf has done it again.  Their Christmas Windows….2014.……are spectacular.  The theme is: “inspired”………….the words of David Hoey……the talented man behind these windows.  The theme this year is: A LESSON IN THE ARTS.

This window is all about LITERATURE.  Everything you see is made of woven fabric, soft sculptures and needlework……..the work of many artists.

NY FASHION WEEK • 2014• Celebrities……on Parade

There are over 50 celebs here……….too many to bore you with their names………so I’ll let you figure out who they are.  Andie Mac Dowell is easy to recognize.

Just CLICK ON ONE and he or she or he/she will fill your space.

Then there was Joan Rivers……lots of designers from Project Runway…….who doesn’t adore Mondo. The star of “Orange is the New Black”.  Miss Jay from Tyra’s show.  The Hilton sisters……Linda Fargo from Bergdorf’s……..Barbara Walters, Sarah Jessica Parker……..and, of course, Brad the stylist.
