Julia………artist and printmaker……..working today in the BLACKBURN print making workshop in the efa STUDIOS at 323 West 39th street.
Three of her prints that are currently for sale for sale
Boxes of RAGS that the print makers use in the creation of their prints.
This is one of my favorite photos of the two of them. His apartment in New York was a place where he and Monty Cliff could hang out…….and be comfortable.
He lived at 19 West 68th street on the East side of Manhattan. The “Rebel Without a Cause” died at the young age of 24….in a car crash.
The old lady is as grand as ever…………..and 750,000 people pass thru here every day. 44 train platforms and 67 tracks make her the largest train station in the world.
The grand staircase is designed after the one in the Paris Opera. The statues outside are: HERCULES….MERCURY and MINERVA……all very SEXY.
What is the best part of living in New York. It isn’t the Broadway Shows…..or the Met Opera…..or the NYC Ballet…..or the Museums….it is the PEOPLE.
Who are these people. What do they do. Where do they live? How do they live?
Imagining about their lives is endless fascination for me.

NEW YORKERS on the street……during Fashion Week..…….and many are more fun than the fashion being shown on the runways.
345 restaurants participated in RESTAURANT WEEK……….but I went to my favorite. If you are in Paris you can enjoy BENOIT..……or enjoy it right here in New York. Alain Ducasse knows how to please New Yorkers……..without the typical French snobbery.
Laetitia, Chef de Cuisine and the Executive chef Philippe Bertineau have restored Benoit’s reputation for the finest Parisian bistro cuisine in New York.
Today I got to taste…and enjoy……..creations of Chef Thomas Padovani……..
