HAPPY TURKEY DAY

BRINE it.…….STUFF IT………BAKE IT……..BRAISE it……..and then try  to eat that tough old bird.  Keep a chicken on hand as a back up.

I invited a few NEIGHBORS to my THANKSGIVING FEAST……….

I think it was a mistake to make an OPEN INVITATION to the people on my street.

I told the doorman to turn them away…..all 2000 of them!

I would have needed 200 turkeys!

MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE

Stepped out on my terrace today to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade .

Weather was clear…..but COLD!  Below freezing!  I had to duck back inside for a hot chocolate.

I always enjoy the view of Central Park over the Dakota apartments.

The big question today was …………”WILL THE BALLOONS FLY?”  

SNOOPY was happy to be aloft.

The winds were fierce……….they they calmed down……..and the balloons flew!

Just a few people down on 72nd street in front of my apartment.

13,ooo MACY”S employees walked in the parade .

SECURITY blocked off the street……….trucks filled with salt………so terrorists could not barrel down the street and slam into the crowds.

These cute turkeys were NOT in the parade………..just dressed for the occasion……..adorable!
