Strolling around the Promenade of the Koch Theater in Lincoln Center you can walk on the photos of the dancers………or you can walk around the balconies and look down at other people walking on the dancers.  JR calls this a dance that the audience creates for themselves.

The Fabulous and the Far-out at FASHION WEEK

There are a lot of idiosyncratic fashionistas on the streets of New York City.  I snapped a lot of them during Fashion Week Sept 2012……and had a lot of fun meeting them.

My friend Ruth………..96 and still dressing to her own drummer.

And my friend, Ilona.…….94 and always fun.  She is appearing on Broadway in November.

Mary ROSE……FASHION STYLIST……..certainly has her own style.

Love the bald head……love the robe.  I too am going bald……now I just need to get that robe?

I am sooooooo tired of the “DROPPED DRAWERS” look.

Tim Brown expresses himself every day of the year with a different look.

Must admit……….without the purple gloves it would be nothing.

Tziporah Salamon dresses like this every day………..each day being more fab than the one before.

Now we’re talkin’…….POLKA DOTS!

The “TWINS”…..wrapped in black garbage bags………..or…………but always fun.

SHE …. is always a knock-out.

Got her license plate………….but not her name.

Lynn Dell………..owner of “Broadway”………Manhattans most love boutique for the fabulous and the far-out clothes.

Lynn had her own fashion advice show on TV for 10 years.

Ilona Royce Smithkin………came to lunch on Wednesday….we had a glorius time.

He was my fave boy of the day.  Gotta love Kim.

I love the way she put it together.

An Alexander McQueen original………..or is it own fantasy?

The glasses….the hair……..the feather……..but the lace shirt makes it happen.

Armani can be yours too……….for $2200.  So this kid has a rich daddy!

There is a law in NY….Men can be”TOPLESS”….and so can women.  Some brave ladies are exercising their legal rights !

MIRANDA and a Brunch

I’ve discovered a charming restaurant in Williamsburg……… where you are not treated as a customer………….rather, you are part of the family.

The menu is a mix of Latin American and Italian cooking,  The wine list has some interesting choices from Italy.

The interior decor…..simple yet tasteful…….using “green” materials….and recycling some unique pieces.

Artsy Craftsy use of old  Knives and spoons…….

My brunch partners enjoyed creamy polenta with poached eggs, wild mushrooms

with a tomato fonduta.  I loved the Mediterranean bass, roasted fingerlings and lemony arugula. Delecieux!

The chef-owner , Sasha trained at the CIA.  She has worked in the kitchens of the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa and at Verbena……and also worked with Chef Grey Kunz.

My guests, Ms. BG  [from Greece]  and Renate  [from Monte Carlo]   and I thoroughly enjoyed our

culinary adventure.

Our waiter……Jose………..helpful, efficient and charming…….a delight.
