HOUSING WORKS  Thrift store on West 17th in Chelsea………..Newly renovated…….had a grand “reopening”.  It was spectacular.

What can I say?  Benetton had leftover yarn and decided to tie up copulating couples?  Gays?  Lesbians?  Transgenders?

CREEL & GOW..…..a Cabinet of Curiosities……..on Manhattan’s East Side.  A store where everything comes from Mother Nature.  The shop is located in the former stables of Grosvenor Atterbury’s town house.

In NYC we don’t garages……so we have “STOOP SALES”.  You may have seen Lena Dunham of “GIRLS”….and her stoop sale.  Todays sale was on West 22nd street in Chelsea.

Tripped thru Central Park today to see my Eye Doc……caught the tulips and the blossoms in bloom…..and a few New Yorkers doing their thing.  Snapped a lady in bed at the Ralph Lauren Store.  A cute guy in Harem Pants…….and the toilet in the New Museum on the Bowery.

Some graffiti…….a Nespresso cup in their window………nude lady’s butt for sale in a gallery on Madison.  Magenta may be a new trend!

There was a time when “the Bowery“………was known as “Skid Row”………..ie, shelters for “bums” and “alcoholics”.  Now it is so gentrified………..but a lot go character [and characters]………lingers on.

 

This is NOT the kind of “grass” you can smoke!

 

He was driving a bulldozer………….making a big hole  ………..[in the street].

Church s…..graffiti….locks chained to a tree with photos of missing children……trendy boutiques……..cute guys……and the NEW MUSEUM.
