TOM’S Pork Roast……with Ale

Easy Peasy recipe……[as Jamie Oliver would say].

P1300302

Chop half a head of this pretty purple veggie.

P1300304

Saute a red onion…..in butter……..olive oil…….or both.  S & P.

P1300308

Chop a peeled Granny Smith……saute for only a couple of minutes.

P1300306

Add a cup of ale or amber beer.

P1300310

Brown the roast on all sides, in olive oil. Cook for about 20 mins on the stovetop in the same skillet [I use cast iron] with the cabbage, onions and ale mixture.  Do NOT cover it.  Serve.  Devour it.

P1450738

“Grater Mania” over the bar………..and maybe a few too many……..but after the 3rd glass of wine ……….you won’t even notice.

P1450743

More of those fresh flowers which I fully appreciate…..Donald too.

P1450769
