After a frantic 10 days of NY FASHION WEEK Spring 2014…….we all needed a quiet lunch on my terrace.

Friday started off very iffy! Very overcast.

Mr. Mourning Dove drops in every morning. We call him “Coo Coo”. He hangs around for about an hour…..but keeps an eye out for the Kestral who nests on the tower next to us.

Finally……the sun decided to peek out

Don set up a couple of tables on the terrace

I picked up some flowers at our local farmers market.

There was a chance of showers……so Don set up the umbrellas.

I have never tried the wines of Long Island……..decided to give Peconic a try [way too dry].

CHICKEN SALAD. The trick is to cut the mayo by half and mix in whipped cream.

Eric, Jane, Margo ILONA and Shelly.

Lady Jane digs in.

Trader Joe provided the Macarons. Eat them frozen. Delish

I tried on Ilona’s Karen Walker sunglasses.

They look better on ILONA! What style!

Margo………an art student at Parsons…..and oh so talented.

Margo…..ILONA and Jane. Three delightful ladies.

ILONA in my art studio……..and a few naked cowboys. At 95 she is still kicking up her heels.

She played several sonatas for us. Loverly!

Perusing Kaffe Fassett’s book………and autobio on his very fascinating life.
CLICK ON his site………it is exciting.

Ilona’s friend Erik……..off to a meeting with a director………but stopped in to say hello.

Sherbet………..blackberry sauce……raspberries and whipped cream.

ILONA loves whipped cream. Ate two bowls. Finger licking good!

Gardenia from my garden. Exotic scent for an exotic lady.
