Every year we decorate my hallway…………the little kids…..and their parents………have fun.  We give out toys……no candy.

2014 Greenwich Village HALLOWEEN PARADE

 

The annual GREENWICH VILLAGE HALLOWEEN PARADE  was as fantastic as ever.

Thousands joined in and marched in costume.  There were 50 marching bands.

400,000 people lined the route to oggle and scream, hoot and holler…….until the parade ended around midnight.

VAN GOGH’S self portrait.  This was my favorite.  So clever!  I wish I had thought of it first.

I thought the MAKEUP was so much more creative than just wearing a rubber mask.

This was the saddest float in the parade……...Robin Williams surrounded by skeletons!

HALLOWEEN PARTY on West 69th st / 2014

Every HALLOWEEN…….my neighbors on West 69th street decorate their BROWNSTONES for a block party.  They really do it up.

MY HALLOWEEN PARTY / 2014

Every HALLOWEEN I decorate my hallway for the kids.  Not too scary……..so the little kids don’t cry and jump back into the elevator.  The parents get dressed up too.  For ftreats….we give out 200 toys………and jewelry for the teenage girls.  Vu Cams for the teen boys.

I am supposed to be KING TUT…..but all the kids say……”who are YOU supposed to be!”

HALLOWEEN House of Horrors!

Walking the streets of MANHATTAN……….creature, ghosts and goblins were everywhere.  Lots of skeletons too.    I did NOT invite any of them for a meal on the terrace !!!

HALLOWEEN MASKS……..which did I choose???

The SUN GOD mask was the winner.

 

HALLOWEEN MASKS in Jackson Sq. Park

Today in Jackson Square Park in Greenwich Village.…………the local school kids made MASKS……….all from items in their kitchen.  So so clever!
