The First Day of SPRING 2014

The first day of Spring…………and Central Park is trying to bud.

 

SPRING was too much of a shock for her.  Keeled right over.

 

 

 

 

Traffic Signals…….led me to Forsythia

This morning I was on my way to the Met Opera House to pick up a couple of tickets.  On the corner of Richard Bernstein Place and Broadway……….

two gentlemen were painting the traffic signal.

To the eyes of an artist, their “drop – cloth” was a “work of art”………

Which reminded me of  FORSYTHIA !  Gotta have some!  So I got some!

Can SPRING be far behind?  [ Yes, I cribbed that from “Ode to the West Wind”].

In my apartment………next to Mr. Tut the turtle…….a breath of spring has arrived.
