SOHO……… Faces and Places

SCOTT and KYLER.………adorable and in love……were the sweetest people we met on our Soho shopping spree.

Renaté………[my friend who lives nicely in Nice]………is here on vacation.  She and I strolled through SOHO looking for a “chic” pair of sunglasses……….. the Sunglass Hut is where we finally found the perfect pair.  While searching in a dozen stores  we stopped often for cappuccino……….or a glass of wine……..a few cronuts [it is the newest foodie craze, a cross between a donut and a croissant]………….and a stein of beer at the newly opened

beer hall in Soho……….HOUSTON HALL.  What a toot!

We passed by the Puck Building where “Will and Grace” was filmed.  Stopped by Hollister…..with their cute semi naked guys on the street.  Pepe Rosso To Go. The Crosby Hotel for “High Tea”.

Restaurant Francais was closed so we headed for Balthazar’s.  No tables available…….. so we ended up at Katz’s Deli.

We thought about peddling around  a Citi Bank rental bike.  Nixed that crazy idea.

Lots of artists have set up their own “Gallery” on the streets.  Marilyn Monroe seemed to be their favorite subject.
