WE GOT THE TAIL END

Of the storm that swept across America last night…………

It started rather gently……just a bit of fog,

From my studio………….I could no longer see the park.

The city was obscured by the downpour.  There will be no lunch on the terrace today.

The windows of the Time Warner Towers mirror the light.

Central Park went totally dark…………my view of 5th Ave. was obscured.

From my bedroom I caught a glimpse of a very large bird!

The Great Blue Heron [which lives in the lake in Central Park]…………..was taking refuge on my terrace.  What a delightful surprise!

My garden seems to have survived the strong winds.

The workmen on the roof………….drenched…….but continued working.

Down on the street…………it was dreary………but this beautiful sony by Nana Mouskouri…..always cheers my up.
