DINNER on the TERRACE with James and Jack

James and Jack are on their way to the theater to see “THE KING AND I” at Lincoln Center.P1890165

James [singer, actor, dancer] in London is in New York on a holiday.

Jack is in New York on a three month holiday ………. takings a lot of dance classes…….and working as a waiter at Ruby’s Cafe.

Both are having a ball in Manhattan.

FAREWELL to our friend TRAVIS……

Our friend TRAVIS is leaving New York for a new life adventure in Portland.

We will miss him……….but happy for him in his decision to move across country.

His friends wished him farewell and good luck………….and toasted him several times……[actually a total of SEVEN].  We met at SHALEL MOROCCAN LOUNGE …….. 65 west 70th street.

It is a cozy little underground cave [perfect for a romantic night out].  Rose petals are strewn along the lighted stairs as you descend into this cave.

All of the food we tasted was over the top delicious…..but the lamb meatballs were the best I have ever had anywhere……[including Athens and Casablanca].

Everyone loved the designer cocktails …………my fave was a concoction of Elderberry liquor blended with 5 other weird liquid delights!  I had one………others 5 or more into the midnight hours.  Whoopee!

 

 

BUSHWICK OPEN STUDIOS • 2015……..a scene that must be seen

BUSHWICK OPEN STUDIOS • 2015   TROUTMAN STREET a scene to be seen……in!  It was fun.  Art, food, people.  600 events……almost overwhelming.

10th Avenue and 45th street…….not easy to get to…..but you can UBER on over.

NORWEGIAN BREAKAWAY…….sailed away on sunday

Heading for the Caribbean Islands.

We were under the wing of a  CONCORD JET parked on the deck of the INTREPID airplane carrier on the Hudson river.

Thunder storms started to roll as the ship pulled out into the river.

We were stranded for 2 hours under the wing until the storm let up.

 

 

 

When the storm abated a bit……….we bolted across the street to the UNDERWEST DONUTS………..
