The MATISSE PIANO at Lincoln Center

SING FOR HOPE……….has put 50  pianos in and around the streets and parks of New York.

My favorite spot was at Alice Tully Hall on Broadway.  I made Videos of the 20 people I watched play the piano.

It was a thrilling and fun experience…………I met a lot of interesting people and made many new friends.

I want to share my experience with you.

 

 

LIYAN HE…….a young student from Hong Kong……..was practicing for his recital at Carnegie Hall.

MANNY PANTA.……..played  again and again and again.  The crowd wouldn’t let him stop.

The MAYER BROTHERS live just around the corner.  Bopped in…..sat down……played their hearts out………..

then bopped off before we could get an encore.

MARILYN SCOTT…….in town from Santa rosa………….thrilled us with Mozarts’ Fantasia.By this time at night…..I was ready for some soothing piano.
