Sir Edward Burne-Jones / Pre-Raphaelite ARTIST

Sir Edward Burne-Jones didn’t start painting until he was in his twenties………and had very little formal training.  But, he was one of the leading painters of the Pre-Raphaelite movement.  Leading this group was the bohemian Rossetti and William Morris.…..one of the wealthiest artist of his era.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is currently showing his work until October 26, 2014.  I am grateful to the MET for allowing me to photograph these paintings.
