UNION SQUARE PARK Farmers Market on 14th street

The Farmers Market in Union Square is a Saturday morning ritual for thousands of New Yorkers.  Chefs from the surrounding restaurants stock up for the daily menu……….breads, cheese, fish and flowers for the tables.

BUT………it is the PEOPLE I find fascinating!

The bulldog is aptly named……….TINKERBELL.

CLICK ON his photo to see him unclose and personal.

I did stock up on roses…lillies and tomatoes.

Jesus was there dragging a cross, Ghandi and George Washington, artists, fortune tellers and lots of chess players.
