The EASTER PARADE nyc 2014

The EASTER PARADE on 5th Avenue has been a tradition since the 1880’s……..and it is something I look forward to every year.

Irving Berlin wrote the lyrics to “The Easter Parade” in 1933.

Judy Garland and Fred Astair stared in the film in 1948 and strolled down 5th Avenue singing……..”in your Easter Bonnet.….”

and New Yorkers still parade down the Avenue on Easter Sunday.
