TOM’S Pork Roast……with Ale

Easy Peasy recipe……[as Jamie Oliver would say].

Chop half a head of this pretty purple veggie.

Saute a red onion…..in butter……..olive oil…….or both.  S & P.

Chop a peeled Granny Smith……saute for only a couple of minutes.

Add a cup of ale or amber beer.

Brown the roast on all sides, in olive oil. Cook for about 20 mins on the stovetop in the same skillet [I use cast iron] with the cabbage, onions and ale mixture.  Do NOT cover it.  Serve.  Devour it.
