I’ve discovered a charming restaurant in Williamsburg……… where you are not treated as a customer………….rather, you are part of the family.
The menu is a mix of Latin American and Italian cooking, The wine list has some interesting choices from Italy.
The interior decor…..simple yet tasteful…….using “green” materials….and recycling some unique pieces.
Artsy Craftsy use of old Knives and spoons…….
My brunch partners enjoyed creamy polenta with poached eggs, wild mushrooms
with a tomato fonduta. I loved the Mediterranean bass, roasted fingerlings and lemony arugula. Delecieux!
The chef-owner , Sasha trained at the CIA. She has worked in the kitchens of the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa and at Verbena……and also worked with Chef Grey Kunz.
My guests, Ms. BG [from Greece] and Renate [from Monte Carlo] and I thoroughly enjoyed our
culinary adventure.
Our waiter……Jose………..helpful, efficient and charming…….a delight.
