My day started with bacon and eggs on toast…….shared with nephew Steve from Detroit………in town for a job interview .

Today was the last day to catch the PICASSO AND FRANCOISE GILOT exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery on Madison avenue.

THE SHOW WAS NUMBING…….SO INCREDIBLE. She lent many works from her own collection of paintings to the exhibition…….curated by John Richardson.

Meet Francoise. She is alive and well and at age 90 living in New York City.

I decided to walk thru the park…..instead of cabbing it to the Picasso Show.
That’s my apt, shrouded with a scaffold and screen…….Hurricane Irene cracked it wide open. Nasty piece of work !

This Hansom Cab tried to pick me up. At $100 …..I declined !

Allways begging! I fed them my toast crumbs.

Over the bridge…..and thru the woods……….to….

BETHESDA FOUNTAIN………

And the Angel pf the Waters…..sculpted by Emma Stebbins…..and placed in the park in 1873.

Water lilys fill the fountain.

Miss Ruby and her little “Miss Slippers”.

Dropped in at the Boathouse for lunch.

Breads ! Say “yes” to carbs.

So how much is it for a bone?

It’s 95 degrees….and she wears a sweater?

The Yacht Pond Cafe………a Perrier stop for sure.

Lots of boats were out today.

Donald headed for the Carousel.

My favorite horse……….I always ride twice.

“Can I have a ride……..? ”I’m dressed for the occasion.”
