Back in my own studio………….the ” Lady in the Red Hat” insisted on wearing my new MEMO PAD.

And I get to wear the other Memo Pad !

LINCOLN CENTER PLAZA at Night

When the moon is shining bright……and the stars come out at night……so do NEW YORKERS,  The Fountain at Lincoln Center is one of their favorite gathering spots.

The  fountain was designed by Diller Scofidio & Renfro from L.A.

Peter Kopil designed the water show……using 317 jets…….the water rises to 12 feet……putting 475 gallons of water into the air.  It is mesmerizing to watch.

In the promonade of the David H. Koch Theatre………..Elie Nadelman sculptures dominate the scene.

52 VIEWS OF LIFE IN GREENWICH VILLAGE

I spent the morning at the Apple Store……enjoying my weekly lesson.  Lunched in Greenwich Village at the SPOTTED PIG.………but did NOT pig out…….at $20 for a burger………$6 for pickles……fries were $8…………..coffee and dessert $16.  They suggest a 20% tip.  So, a burger lunch for two…….$120.  Yikes.  No beer….no wine………..not even an iced tea.  Was it good!  It was FABULOUS !

They look like little old ladies who have lost their bloom.

Somehow an artichoke got in there!

Asian and Oriental

VOILA!  This is how I get the beautiful color……….in the setting sun the roses take on a soft glow.

This lovely lady is named……….”Evening Romance”……….and her scent is intoxicating.

VOILA!  The secret to the dreamy photos………shot under a lace curtain.

At the top of my building………..over my terrace…….

SPRINGTIME on my Terrace

It’s  SPRINGTIME  on my terrace………..and the summer flowers have bloomed early.  Roses gone wild…………petunias {my fave}……….lilies are all out and a few  tulips linger on..  While the lilacs are just about gone ……..  the hydrangeas are peaking early.  It’s a lovely time to be in the garden……alone……with friends………like the “TWINS”.

The “watering can” is their favorite toy.

The rose called “Peace”.
