FLITTING ABOUT AT THE FLEA

My week-end guests……… three lovely ladies from……… Detroit stuffed their suitcases with  ”treasures and trash” from the GARAGE FLEA MARKET on West 25th street early on Saturday morning.  We had fun!  Vintage clothes, jewelry, art and assorted chotchkies…..and one African tribal mask.

RAINY DAYS and Monday……

RAINY DAYS AND MONDAYS always get me down.  Worse than that is a rainy SUNDAY.  No sitting in an outdoor cafe……no flowers markets……..no flea markets……no stroll in Central Park.  But………. New Yorkers and their pooches are out there……..umbrellas in hand……..[ and a pooper scooper in the other hand].

Tom……lost in a fog.

Wanted to take her home………..Donald said “NOT” !

I thought she would look great as a dinner guest out on the terrace.

Meet the  queen of fab……”Ms. Joli”…….and her mirror.

Whatever you ask a mirror………it will ask back.

The mirror is a judge of character.

One needs to enjoy growing old……..and reflect on your life…..in the mirror if it helps.

Never run from a mirror…..it leaves a friend outside.

Never tell a mirror how old you are……….

What a poor life this is………we have no time to stand and stare.

Cover my eyes…………and I can see you still.

The mirror is exact.  It has no preconceptions.

There will be heartache and tears if you’ve cheated the person in the glass.

Examine yourself in a mirror…….carefully , thoughtfully…….and perhaps make a change….or two!

For now we see in a mirror darkly;  but then face to face.  1 Cor. 13.12a

The mirror reflects the face of anyone who looks at it.

The mirror only tells the truth.

He turned away from his reflection………..
