NOSH and SIP at HAVEN’S KITCHEN

CHELSEA and all Manhattanites have a new place to to add to their list of  pleasures.  Haven’s Kitchen just opened at 109 West 17th Street.

Alison Schneider now has her own place…..after teaching cooking classes all about town……….{she learned her trade well at New York University}.

Meet Alison……she is as charming as her shop.

Upcoming classes.  The JAM SESSION….sign me up!

Decor is simple……..sophisticated……….elegant.

The counter staff  is delightful……..scones……..their own granola……..the choices are also delightful…….and freshly made in their own kitchen.

Tulips in January………as beautiful as the store.

Don and I were the first customers to take tea in the new cafe.

TEA.  No.38 MAJORELLE MINT……….organic Green Tea and and Mint Blend……..from the BELLOCQ TEA ATELIER. The flavor was heavenly.

Sip your tea and peruse a unique selection of cook books…….. {for your reading pleasure………..and are not for sale}.

Take out service………….or table service await your pleasure.

Cherubs…..not for sale {I asked…….they would look great on my terrace}.

Crockery geting readies for a reception this evening.  Friends and well-wishers are invited.
