A DAY IN MY LIFE

Awoke to the sounds of a derrick………..on my front terrace…….lowering 2 men over the wall.

Remember that EARTHQUAKE a month ago.  It put a crack in our building…..

Split open for…….10 floors high in the tower!  $200,000 to fix it.

Went for a morning walk………past a homeless couple who sleep on the steps of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Bumped into a friend……….Ruth………who is boning up on DADA. A friend of ours….Rudy Ernst……wrote it.

Exercise for 39 mins…………then 30 laps……….and a steam.  Ahhhhhhhh.!

Passed a street artist across from The Apple Store on Broadway.

Two workmen were  in the apt…..repairing  the handle on my terrace door. They handed me a bill….$1236…..for a handle!  Gotta love New York!

I whipped up some BLT’S for lunch…..on Pullman Bread toast.

My guests arrived from Boulder Colorado……….who are touring the entire US of A in their motor home.

Pickled red peppers and chips…….and an olive.

Meet JUDEE……….

Blueberries………..mango sherbet……….french vanilla with peach puree…..and two blackberries.

A walk in Central Park after lunch.

Stopped by the Boathouse Cafe for a coffee.

A sweet Korean couple were getting married…..cute!

The Bethesda Fountain………..with threatening skies……..tho the pigeons don’t seem to mind.

The pond at her feet is filled with water lillies.

A four o’clock storm came up.   Lasted 10 minutes.  Gone.

Dinner:  Pesto Ravioli…….roasted yellow peppers…….butternut squash. Dab of feta.

After dinner……went for a short walk…….stopped in at Housing Works Thrift……..to see our friend George.  SMILE!
